This Saturday night, December 15th, I was at the First Annual CIIPAP Christmas Festival. It was a family event at the Coliseo Francisco Pancho Deida in Hatillo. The event was pretty fun, and I ended up shooting more than I originally intended.
The event was hosted by Saryluz Cuevas, who did a marvelous job in between acts. Later on, christian rock band 5to Angel played a set which was pretty good.
The surprise of the night was an impromptu performance by up and coming singer and model, Seashell Atlantis. Completely unprepared to perform, Seashell improvised two soulful songs. Her powerful voice left the audience dumbfounded, some even calling her “the next Adele”.
Then came the grand finale. The final performance of the night was in the hands of La Otra Mitad, who scorched through an amazing set to bring the event to a magnificent end.
It was no doubt a wonderful night, and I know there will be more to come soon. Look forward to more events like this!
